Along with his wife, Lisa, John is the co-founder of Messenger International, a ministry committed to revolutionizing global discipleship. When John is home in Franklin, Tennessee, you’ll find him loving on his g-babies, playing pickleball, or trying to convince Lisa to take up golf.

Bubba Massey

Church of the Highlands College Pastor

Bubba Massey speaking with a microphone

Bubba is the college pastor at Church of the Highlands. He and his wife Brittany have four beautiful children at their home in Alabama. With a heart for the next generation, Bubba spends his time ministering to local college students at the University of Alabama. He has also expanded his college ministry to include activities like movie nights and basketball tournaments.

Brandon Cormier

Lead Pastor of Zeal Church

Brandon Cormier smiling

Brandon and his wife Octavia’s ministerial journey together began in the context of being discipled by missionaries while students at Youth With A Mission. Serving together on the streets of Chicago and in the charities of Calcutta, India, marked their hearts to forever see the “one” amongst many and always believe in the supernatural ability of God for miracles and provision.

Brandon’s background in leading prayer movements, preaching in both domestic & international ministry, and developing youth pastors, have equipped him to lead with an infectious level of passion for Jesus that results in transformed lives. He holds a Master of Divinity from Oral Roberts University.

In the spring of 2018, after much counsel and prayer, Brandon and Octavia made the exciting decision to obey the call of God by launching a Spirit-empowered, life-giving church in order to reach those who are far from God. September 13th, 2020, Zeal Church launched with nearly 800 people in attendance. Each weekend, over 1,000 people gather in person to know God, experience freedom, discover purpose, and make a difference!

Pastor John Nuzzo

Lead Pastor of Victory Family Church

Pastor John Nuzzo

Pastor John and his wife Michelle founded Victory Family Church in 1993 to see people experience God in everyday life. He loves seeing lives changed and families restored! That’s what fuels him.

Pastor John and Michelle have three adult children. He’s an avid golfer (though he’d tell you that doesn’t mean he’s a “good” golfer) and is constantly working on impersonations. He does a pretty great Don Corleone from the Godfather (we are Victory Family Church, after all). John roots for the Steelers, but if you’re a Browns or Ravens fan, he promises to go easy on you.

He considers every interaction with every individual a once-in-a-lifetime privilege, and if you’ve never met him, he’d love the opportunity to meet you.

Rod & Jill Windham

Lead Pastors of Movement Church

Rod Windham speaking
Jill Windham

Rod and Jill Windham are the lead pastors of Movement Church.

After serving as pastoral staff in central Florida for 20 years, Rod and Jill were beginning the transition of taking the lead pastorship of the church they had been serving in. At that time, they were in a season of real unrest, knowing something new was coming on the horizon. Seth and Lori Adgate were also on staff at the same church, serving as youth pastors. Little did the Windhams know, the Adgates felt the same season of change beginning in their own hearts. As the changes became clearer, Rod, Jill, Seth, and Lori began to feel the desire in them to begin a new work –

And to begin it in Madison, Alabama.

On June 2, 2014, Movement Church was born. Movement Church exists to move people into a fulfilling relationship with Jesus. We are determined to do this in very practical, non-religious ways, so that North Alabama sees a God who really wants to connect with them, right where they are.
